Red Kite Feeding Centre Red Kite by Bob GraingerThe Red Kite Feeding Centre is located at Llanddeusant, on the road to Llangadog via Trecastle (photograph thanks to Bob Grainger of Bob Grainger Photography).

The centre is about a twenty minute drive from Pentre Riding Stables, and is open 365 days of the year.

The Sleeping Giant Sleeping Giant | Cribarth, AbercraveThe picture on the left shows the "Sleeping Giant", a part of the Cribarth Mountain which looks just like a large sleeping man (photograph thanks to the Sleeping Giant Foundation). Access to the mountain is available from directly behind Pentre Riding Stables, offering an opportunity for visitors to walk, or ride, along the giant's neck.

Ynyscedwyn Ironworks Ynyscedwyn Ironworks | Glanrhyd YstradgynlaisThe Ynyscedwyn Ironworks are located in the nearby town of Ystradgynlais, and in their day were world leaders in the technology of working iron. The arches are an iconic symbol of Ystradgynlais, and the park around them includes other preserved examples of industrial machinery.
