| Non-rider Activities |
There's plenty to see and do at Pentre, both on and off the farm, either in between horse riding, or for any non-riders in your party!

Hiking
If you enjoy high level walking, there are lots of trails and footpaths within our section of the National Park. Many of these are way-marked, or can be followed from a good walking map.

Low level Walks
There are also some more gentle walks around Craig Y Nos Country Park, which is a great facility, just a short walk down the road from Pentre. The Country Park has lots of outdoor activities for children, as well as a Visitor Centre housing regular exhibitions and plenty of useful information on our local area. More details about the Country Park can be found by clicking here

Fishing
Private Fishing is available on the farm - please contact us for full details.

Mountain Biking
You are welcome to bring your Mountain Bike for use on the open hills and tracks above Pentre. We can provide secure storage for the bike, by arrangement.

Pubs & Inns
If you like to unwind after a good day's exertions, our local Pubs & Inns might be for you! We recommend The Copper Beech Inn, at Abercrave, just a couple of miles away from Pentre. They pride themselves on good food and specialise in Real Ale (the pub was featured in the Good Beer Guide 1999). They are open all day from 12 till 11 and regularly host Live Music - we can supply details of dates and events on request.
